the press button version
| Just happened to pick up a few "ultra-bright" white led. Don't know what's the coating inside the water clear case. Look interesting to me :-) |

| This look like an ordinary 5mm water clear led to most
of us.
I'd say the voltage drop is 3.4V to 3.6V |

| My mobile phone battery from Panasonic :
3.7V 650mAh Li-ion type What ? 3.7V ? Perfect for this little "ultra-bright" white led :-) |

| On the mobile phone body, the -ve and +ve indicator are marked already. |
![]() |
| Just hooked them up with little wires coming out of the body, so that I can put the battery pack back on without the wires getting my way. |

| This is it. Stick the "ultra-bright" white led into it and..... |

| ...mega bright flashlight !! Hurt my eyes by looking at it :-) |
![]() |
| Shine the light onto a piece of paper. Almost burn a hole onto it. Haha. |

| Led will be hot, so don't use it for too long. |
|
| This little press button is recycled from a keyboard. |

| Press button orientation :
